My name is Berta Valverde and I’m a Post-Production expert living and working in Cornwall. I was born and raised under the sunny skies of Spain but moved to England 11 years ago following my dream of working in the Film Industry. I started my career as a trained Psychologist and Neuroscientist.

After a few years, I decided that I wanted to express my creativity and apply my knowledge to something more challenging and that I am passionate about. Therefore, I decided to quit my secure job and enrol on a Digital Filmmaking degree at Oxford. After completing my course, I became a self-employed media artist for a wide range of different roles within the industry. Over the past ten years, I have been working as an Offline / Online Editor, Colourist and VFX artist for numerous projects like Black Mirror, McQueen, God’s own country, and remarkable international directors like Mohsen Makhmalbaf.

My passion for editing and Post Production drives me to creative excellence, and I continuously improve my knowledge and skills in successfully handling a wide range of media projects. My background in Psychology and Neuroscience has helped me to develop my social skills and my ability to listen to people and interpret their needs and vision, which has proved invaluable when working with clients. But equally, it has helped me understand human perception and the emotions that are involved in processing motion images and how to draw people’s attention to the desired object. On a personal level, I am very creative, energetic, hardworking, reliable and capable in fast-paced environments who enjoys spending time in contact with nature and the sea.

My name is Dan Pryor, I do visual effects. I’m originally from one of the most depopulated areas of Spain but now I’m living in hectic London. I’m specialized in compositing and matte painting but I started my career studying science (because the film industry was looking like something unreachable when I was living in that small village) then I did study filmmaking and DoP, and finally VFX so I have experience with lighting, visual narrative, using cameras, and also a logical oriented mind.

I’ve been doing VFX for projects like Black mirror, Poldark, mcQueen, God’s own country; working for Amazon Prime, Netflix, BBC, BFI movies among others. Some of the projects in which I’ve participated have received several awards like best VFX on Drama Short Film Festival of Greece, Berlin International Film Festival or British Independent Film Awards.

My name is Clara Camacho and I’m a graphic and Web designer. I studied for a BA in Digital Filmmaking in Spain. Still, after 3 years of working as a camera operator and photographer, I realised my real passion was designing, compositing, and creating illustrations and assets.

I have a MA in graphic design and expertise with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, HTML and CSS. Currently, I work as a freelance for Film Shack where I can enjoy the natural sources of creativity surrounding us. I am passionate about creating visually stunning designs that help filmmakers to develop their creativity and reflect their artistic vision.
